Mezcal Encantado
...is our entry-level and cocktail version of a Mezcal Espadín from Los Danzantes. Encantado means both “enchanted” and “very pleased” in a greeting.
This mezcal is distilled by Don Baltazar Cruz and his sons in San Luis del Rio and brought to drinking strength and bottled at Destilería Los Danzantes.
It is the only mezcal in our portfolio that is somewhat adapted to the needs of the European market with its lower alcohol content of 43% — but of course distilled and processed in a strictly traditional way. Don Baltazar also produces the mezcal Alipús San Luis.
